Daniel Lim, Salesforce Fellow, AI & Machine Learning, World Economic Forum
Daniel recently completed his secondment from Salesforce at the World Economic Forum, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Platform, where he led the Responsible Use of Technology project. This initiative convened a group of ethics experts from business, government, civil society and academia to provide techniques and tools to help organizations operationalize ethics throughout the technology lifecycle.
While at Salesforce, Daniel led the company’s Experience Design team in San Francisco, advising customers on their digital transformation efforts using design-thinking methodologies. Previously, Daniel was an owner of Sequence, an innovation and design consultancy that created digital experiences for companies such as Apple, Sonos and Medtronic. Daniel also spent time at McKinsey & Company, and The White House Office of Science and Technology during the Clinton Administration working on technology adoption and policy issues.
Daniel received his Master of Science in Public Policy and Management, and Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
