Day 1 Keynote

Call for AI Ethics

← Back to Agenda

The “Rome Call for AI Ethics” promotes the use of Artificial Intelligence based on the principles of transparency, inclusion, accountability, impartiality and integrity, security and privacy. The Call’s intention is to create a movement that will widen and involve other players: public institutions, NGOs, industries and groups to set a course for developing and using technologies derived from AI. The Call signed on signed on 28 February 2020 was the starting point for a commitment that appears even more urgent and important than ever before. Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia will open the 2021 MIT CDO IQ Conference highlighting the relevance of the Call and the importance of joining this initiative to participants as well as offering a set of ethical criteria with common reference points and values.
