Michael Conlin, Chief Business Analytics Officer, United States Department of Defense
Mr. Conlin has been appointed the first Chief Data Officer of the U.S. Department of Defense. As CDO, Mr. Conlin is responsible for developing, implementing and evolving the DoD strategy for making high-quality Enterprise Business Operations Data available to internal and external stakeholders. Mr. Conlin is also responsible for guiding policy and governance for that data.
Prior to his current government service, Mr. Conlin was Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Defense at Perspecta. Mr. Conlin previously held senior leadership positions with a variety of enterprise IT services providers including DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hewlett Packard, EDS, Conlin and Associates, and Digital4Sight. With more than 30 years of experience doing business in more than 30 countries and every major industry, Mr. Conlin brings an in-depth understanding of the art-of-the-possible. Mr. Conlin was recognized as a Distinguished Engineer at both Hewlett Packard Enterprise and at Hewlett Packard.
Mr. Conlin earned a BS in Psychology and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
