Nadia Hewett, Project lead for the Data for Common Purpose Initiative, Data Policy and Blockchain, World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Nadia Hewett is a project lead for the Data for Common Purpose Initiative, Data Policy and Blockchain at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She leads projects at the Forum that shape the future of technology and data governance. Under her leadership, deliverables focus on unlocking data and 4IR technologies to benefit society while protecting users from risks associated with the data economy. This includes the co-design of new data exchange and marketplace frameworks with multiple jurisdictions around the world. She led the ‘Redesigning Trust: Blockchain Deployment Toolkit’, a gold standard in blockchain development that supports organizations in more responsible, well-designed and inclusive blockchain deployments. She has lived and worked across Asia, Europe, Africa and the last decade in the Americas. She holds an MBA with Kellogg School of Management and a BA at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
