Shivaji Dasgupta has been with Deutsche Bank since 2018, and is responsible for data strategy, architecture and analytics including AI applications in the Private Bank. In his role, he works on data-driven business models and manages the business initiatives in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Since 2019, he is the Chairman of the working group of the European Banking Federation for Data Economy in Brussels. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Shivaji Dasgupta was Chief Data Officer at Versicherungskammer in Munich and Senior Vice-President of Data architecture and analytics at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. From 2009 to 2015 he worked at the management consultancy McKinsey, most recently as Senior Engagement-Manager.
Shivaji Dasgupta studied physics at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, India. In 2009 he obtained his doctorate from the Technical University of Munich. He is a lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM) in Munich.
